The association’s first board will include representatives from Quartz, Globomedia, Endemol Spain, Zebra Producciones, Redwood Group, Boomerang, Bamboo Productions, Atomised Media, DanDan Productions, BRB, Sagrera Audiovisual and the Murdoch-owned Shine Group.
Among the major issues that the board will seek to address are definitions in the role of independent producers, relationships with advertisers, the development of the Audiovisual Communication Act and rights to production.

PATE has invited all TV producers, regardless of size or geographical location, to establish a dialogue with the rest of the industry’s associations.
