TV de Galicia goes for HbbTV

Corporación Radio y Televisión de Galicia (CRTVG) -operating in Spain's Northen region of Galicia, has begun experimental evidence for the introduction of hybrid technology broadband TV (HbbTV).
The connected TV solution will offer to customers "added value" designed to incorporate of information items which in turn will drive conventional new digital services.
In the short term, the new technology will be compatible with the current broadcasting system that CRTVG uses,
The company says that the adaptation of receivers fro the new standard is "very simple and hardly expensive" and users need only to incorporate an additional module whose estimated price is €12.
