Vértice 360 chief tenders resignation
Iñaki Ferreras ©RapidTVNews | 03-01-2012 Following a five-year run as president whilst maintaining his role as board member, José María Irisarri has tendered his resignation at leading Spanish production house Vértice 360.
During his tenure, Irisarri designed a project to include an independent investment platform in Vertice 360 but couldn't get approval of one of the company's main shareholders, Ezentis. This is said to have triggered his sudden resignation to devote his time to other professional projects.
The executive has been a part of the company since it was first created five years ago out of Telson, one of Avanzit's (the former Ezentis) audiovisual shareholders.
Irisarri was one of the creators of Globomedia, and was part of the company for thirteen years. He later created the production and distribution company Notro Films, where he was president until 2004 when he joined Vertice 360.
Vertice 360 became the first independent production company to be successful in Spain, and is currently a major company with offices in Europe and Latin America.
