Discovery Networks Central & Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa (CEEMEA) have entered into a partnership with the Romanian Ministry of Education.
Under it, the two parties will launch a service, known as Scoala Discovery, on January 16 that supports scientific education in Romania and encourages teachers and students to use new media resources in the classroom and to learn through Discovery Channel at home.
Scoala Discovery will target viewers aged 10-18 and be available on TV as a series of educational programmes – over 55 new hours between January 16 and March 30 alone – dubbed into Romanian and commercial-free.
It will also be available online on w//w.scoala.discovery.ro.
