JCA forms transatlantic partnership

In a first for the expanding company, digital TV specialist JCA has launched an international partner program with LA-based integrated media management services provider, SMV Complete Media. Established in 1984, SMV provides its services to US and international television networks, local television stations, corporate instructional video providers, infomercial advertisers and educational institutions. JCA works with clients such as BBC Worldwide, Channel 4, DRG, Fremantle Media, Classic Media, ITV and KidsCo to supply services including encoding, transcoding, digital transmission workflows, content management and file delivery. The joint venture is designed to allow global clients access to local service centres in LA and London for both tape and file-based solutions and also to support international clients based in industry hubs such as LA and other cities along the west coast of America. It also marks the launch of JCA’s partner program, with similar alliances currently being finalised with companies across Europe, Australia, the Far East and the East Coast of America.
