New England Patriots wide receiver Chad Ochocinco took a flight to South Florida on Friday night for his father's funeral but is expected to return in time for Sunday's AFC Championship Game against the Baltimore Ravens, according to the Boston Herald.

The Herald reported that Ochocinco was seen at Boston's Logan International Airport on Friday evening. Bad weather on Saturday, however, could affect return flights, according to the Herald.
Ochocinco had tweeted Monday, seeking prayers for his "oldest and youngest brothers" and adding that "our father passed this morning."
There were no other details on his father or the services.
Ochocinco, who was acquired in a trade from Cincinnati last offseason, had only 15 catches for 276 yards and one touchdown this season, but had no catches in last weekend's 45-10 victory over the Denver Broncos in an AFC Divisional Playoff Game.
