Technicolor has announced the creation of a film and television language versioning facility in France.
The new facility is said to be on par with the strengthening of its European presence through the takeover of most of the audio business activities of ADJ (Auditoriums de Joinville) and SIS (Société Industrielle de Sonorisation) as well as of digital conversion studio ScanLab.
In making its move, Technicolor wants to play a key role among French and European studios for digital post-production and distribution.
“These moves align perfectly with our strategy in the Media & Entertainment domain and will enable us to further reinforce our worldwide leadership positions,” Frédéric Rose, CEO of Technicolor said in a statement.
