Subscribers to the Czech/Slovak DTH platform CS Link are now being offered the chance to switch to Skylink.

Although both have had the same owner since the Luxembourg-based group M7 acquired Skylink for a fee believed to be in the region of €80 million last autumn, the two operations remain separate.

While CS Link targets price-sensitive viewers, Skylink continues to improve its offer, especially through the addition of HD channels.

To switch, CS Link customers can buy a Skylink card for CZK600/€24 including VAT or alternately subscribe to Skylink’s Multi package for six or 12 months for CZK1,740/€70.70 or CZK3,190/€129.80 respectively.

As of September 2011, Skylink had 960,000 and CS Link 577,000 active cards in the Czech Republic.

In Slovakia, the figures stood at 565,000 and 98,000 respectively.
