Red Arrow takes over majority in CPL Productions

Red Arrow Entertainment Group has acquired a majority shareholding in UK production company CPL Productions.
The deal, for which financial details have not been disclosed, marks its first investment in the UK's non-scripted market, the subsidiary of German TV group ProSiebenSat.1 announced in Munich.
CPL's output comprises primetime entertainment, comedy and factual entertainment for major UK broadcasters, for example "A League of Their Own" (Sky One) and "When the Dog Dies" starring Ronnie Corbett for BBC Radio 4.
The senior management team which consists of Danielle Lux, Murray Boland, Heather Hampson and Janet Oakes will continue to lead the company, with Red Arrow UK's managing directors James Baker and Joel Denton joining the CPL Board.
CPL will get an exclusive first look right at the complete range of Red Arrow's formats. SevenOne International, the global distribution arm of Red Arrow, will market all CPL productions in international markets.
In Red Arrow group, ProSiebenSat.1 bundles 15 TV production companies from nine countries alongside partnerships with creative forces such as Dick de Rijk ("You Deserve It", "Deal or No Deal") and Genetic Entertainment ("Home Sweet Hotel", "Don't Panic").
