MIP TV: Content Television nets new deals as Netflix, Screen media, Globosat and HBO acquire drama

As part of its on-going collaboration with leading UK producer World Productions, Content Television, a division of Content Media Corporation, has shipped its feature drama United to a host of international territories.
As it launched Line of Duty at MIP-TV, Content Television revealed that football drama United, starring David Tennant, Dougray Scott and Jack O’Connell, has been picked up in the USA and Canada following a major acquisition by Netflix for subscription VOD rights and Screen Media for broadcast and video rights. These will include transaction VOD and EST in the USA and Canada. Also concluded is a significant pan territory Pay TV deal with MVS Television which will see the programme airing throughout Latin America alongside an acquisition by Globosat for broadcast in Brazil.
