Alticast teams with Brightcove for home cloud video

As expectation to pick up TV anywhere inside a building becomes the norm, Alticast is partnering with Brightcove to allow TV operators to bring their content to any device ‘easily and cost-effectively’.
In essence, Alticast will integrate Windmill ecosystem with Brightcove's Video Cloud online video platform so that operators can add advanced interactivity to existing systems to bring about a TV everywhere environment while providing new revenue models and future-friendly expandability.
The solution, attributed with offering a TV user experience that spans devices and consumer technologies, is based on modular technologies that support a variety of systems including cable, satellite, DTT, hybrid and IPTV.
