The Polish incumbent telco Telekomunikacja Polska has officially rebranded as Orange and launched a new converged product category named Orange Open.
Commenting on the latter, Maciej Witucki, president, Orange Polska, said that it makes fixed line and mobile telephony, ultra-fast fixed line internet access and countrywide mobile internet, coupled with TV and entertainment, available on all devices: the TV set, PC or Mac, tablet and the mobile.
He added that apart from Orange Open, the company would soon be able to offer its customers the ability to watch the same TV programmes and movies on TVs, computers, tablets and mobiles.
This particular facility product, known as Telewizja Tu i Tam (Television Here and There) will make its debut in May.
