Canal+ Spain to launch Motors TV in Spanish

Canal+, Spain’s main pay-TV operator, will consolidate its commitment to motorsport next week when it launches Motors TV in Spanish.
Currently the channel broadcasts in French and English and is available on platforms including Ono and the cable operator Galician R .
The channel was expected to start broadcasting last year, but technical problems delayed its release. Canal+ has confirmed that the channel will initially start broadcasting on 26 April, with programming in Castilian.
Motors TV has more than 16 million subscriber households. The channel is entirely dedicated to motorsport and offers content including competitions like the World Rally Championship, NASCAR Nationwide Series, Grand-Am, V8 Supercars, British Formula Three and various motorcycling tournaments.
Motors TV covers the five continents and broadcasts major events and news about the automotive world. Since its launch in 2000 the broadcaster has become the reference of the motor world and has positioned itself as ‘high-speed television’, true to its slogan.
