The Russian telco MegaFon is expected to raise $4 billion (€3.05 billion) in an IPO.

It is also understood to have found a partner to help it deliver OTT services.

Several agency reports say that MegaFon, the country’s second largest mobile company, will this weekend be holding talks with banks about an IPO, though it has yet to decide on which exchange the offering will be held or on a timeframe.

AKTR and Comnews meanwhile say that the company has chosen a platform from BTT to deliver OTT services on smartphones, desktops and tablets.

MegaFon is owned by Sweden’s TeliaSonera, the Russian billionaire Alisher Usmanov and Altimo, which belongs to the Alfa group.
