Mediaset España is now leading in terms of audience and profitability in the Spanish audiovisual sector with a net profit of 21.2 million euros for the first quarter of this year.

The company's strict policy of cost containment and effective group synergies enabled operating margins (adjusted EBITDA and EBIT) of 24.4 and 20.41 million euros. Total operating costs were 197.60 million euros, 10% less than the same period last year.
