From next season, Spanish La Liga football will be broadcast on SingTel mio TV, which also carries the English Premier League.
ESPN Star Sports - a channel on mio TV - has secured exclusive rights to broadcast La Liga in Singapore for the next three seasons.
Up to 250 "live" matches will be shown during the prime-time hours of between 6pm and midnight on SingTel mioTV's Channels 114, 115 and 117, with viewers also having the option to watch the games in 3D.
SingTel has confirmed there are currently no plans to change pricing for the sports pack, even with the additional content.
ESPN Star Sports vice-president for programming (South-east Asia) Nick Wilkinson said: "La Liga is a football league of global importance and the earlier kick-off times show that they recognise the significance of growing a strong fanbase in Asia.
"Already popular in Europe and South America, it is understandable they would be keen to strengthen their presence in Asia where the top Spanish players and teams already enjoy a strong following."
