Prisa Brand Solutions expands to LATAM

Spanish media company Prisa Brand Solutions is enhancing and expanding its international presence with the inclusion in its portfolio of pan-regional advertising media and Prisa Radio News in Latin America.

To this end, Philip Lucas has been appointed CEO of Prisa Brand Solutions, and two deputy director general positions have been created under him. Silvia Velasco Prague will have commercial responsibility for Prisa Brand Solutions in Spain and Alvaro Palacios will have responsibility for marketing the entire pan-regional advertising media, Radio and Newspapers Prisa in Latin America and US Hispanics.

Velasco will oversee the sales organization which includes Jose Luis Garcia (director of Radio), Jose Antonio Revilla (director of Print Media) and Mercedes Otálora (head of Delegation of Barcelona), Carlos Sanchez (director of Digital and Multimedia) and Rafael de los Santos (director of Business Development).

This expansion in Latin America and the strengthening of the organization is an indication of Prisa’s strong commitment to digital media and its improved collaboration with trading cross-unit Prisa Digital, the company explained in a press release.
