Anime Network draws out transactional VOD via cable MSOs

Anime Network, an all-animation channel in North America, has concluded a deal with iN DEMAND to provide transactional video-on-demand (VOD) and pay-per-view (PPV) for the network to cable MSO partners.
iN DEMAND currently distributes its portfolio of products to 57 million digital cable and telco households across North America and the Caribbean.

We have the utmost confidence in their comprehensive technical expertise, bandwidth capacity and outstanding customer service in delivering content to our affiliates," said Stacy Dodson, executive vice president for the Anime Network, in a statement.
Anime Network reaches more than 45 million North American homes through subscription and free on-demand service. It targets the 15-30 male demographic with a variety of content packages such as comedy, action and sci-fi, with new content refreshed each week.
