    HUMAX USER GUIDE (Little HOW TO...)

    To be able to enjoy your Humax, you need :

    1) a null modem cable
    2) the Humax Toolbox
    3) the latest Firmware
    4) the latest Settings
    5) the latest PMC Table
    6) the latest Keybin

    Item 1 null modem cable - you have to buy and is very cheap to get
    Items 2 to 6 are luckily always available free on this Forum.

    To be able to perform items 3 to 6 mentioned above you always need the Humax Toolbox referred to at item 2 above so start by downloading it to your PC

    Then just follow this quide here of how to perform items 3 to 6 successfully starting with item 3 :
    How to upload the latest firmware

    Requirements:-

    Humax Toolbox
    +Cam Firmware Hot Emu xx (with extension HDF) Unzipped File
    Null Modem Cable attached between PC and Receiver

    1. Put Receiver on a FTA Channel and put it in Standby position (ensure to put in ON or STANDBY position always from the Receiver itself and not with Remote)
    2. Connect PC to Receiver with RS 232 Null Modem Cable
    3. From the Humax Toolbox select and start the Humax Uploader Version 2.O Program
    4. Set up the correct Com Port
    5. Click Open File
    6. Double Click on File Name
    7. An Information Screen pops up saying “File is unknown. Install at your own risk”’
    8. Click OK
    9. Click Upload (PC->STB)
    10. Turn On Receiver from Standby position. At this point, a progress bar appears on PC and a simultaneous one on the TV screen
    11. When download is ready, on the TV screen you will see: “End. Press Standby Key”
    12. Press Standby Key.
    13. Then with the Remote select: Menu, Toh, Config (CAID Preselect) and select Card +Emu (vide Note 15 below)
    14. Patch is complete
    15. The following options (found under CAID Preselect) and their meanings are set out below for information and guidance:

    CARD+EMU => For Emulator DEFAULT use + irde*o (2) card (fast zap)
    CARD+EMU+S => For Emulator + Card Sharing (Premiere + Irdeto2)
    CARD+S+EMU => For Emulator + Card Sharing (Premiere + Cryptoworks)
    CARD+S+EMU also support CAM with Conax card in EMU mode (slow zap)
    CAS1 => For Emulatorek/Wallbanger auto switch
    CAS2 => For Nagra Aladin test
    CAS3 => For people with SkyCrypt and Conax supported CAM's
    CAS4 => For people with Nagra supported CAM's or irde*o 2 test
    CAS5 => For Cryptoworks test
    CAS6 => For SHL test

    16. Having done this, you now need to proceed to item 4

    hi, das wird dir reichen... die aktuelle soft findest du auch hier. einfach den patch runterladen den humaxuploader anschmeissen und dann einfach das .hdf file reinladen... dann auf upload drücken da kommt noch das das programm die parameter nicht kennt und ob du auf eigenes risiko weitermachen willst blabla und da drückst du einfach auf yes und schon gehts los... reciver aus und wieder an und das programm läd die dateien aufm humax... danach nochma nen neustart und die pmc tabelle hochladen und dann noch die aktuelle key.bin und schon biste fertig...
