TNT Serie HD to join Sky Germany

German pay-TV broadcaster Sky Deutschland will add TNT Serie HD to its line-up on 22 June 2012. The subscribers will then be able to receive the series channel operated by Turner Broadcasting System Germany in high-definition (HDTV).

TNT Serie HD will become part of basic package Sky Welt and be available to all Sky HD customers with DTH satellite reception in Germany and Austria. All content is screened without commercial breaks between programmes and in dual soundtrack mode in the dubbed German version and the original English language version.

With the new addition, which was announced in March 2012 (, Sky Germany will offer a total of 57 HD channels. TNT Serie has so far only been available in standard-definition on the platform.

Upcoming programme highlights include the second season of US drama series Falling Skies which the channel will show five days after its world premiere in the USA as a German TV debut from 22 June 2012.
