Vodafone España kicks off Euro 2012 for smartphone users

Vodafone España’s customers will be able to enjoy the Euro 2012’ matches broadcast by Mediaset España’s channels live from their smartphone or mobile phone from tomorrow.

Sports fans can watch the games anywhere reached by the Telecinco signal from the start of the Championship. The service is available for contract customers and on card for €1.5 per week (plus VAT).

In addition to this agreement, Vodafone will offer the first week free to new users who sign up the service. To access Vodafone TV and enjoy live Euro matches, smartphone users need to download the Android Vodafone TV application through AppSelect, Google Play, or by sending TVAndroid to 22521. For BlackBerry users, the download can be performed from the BlackBerry AppWorld, or by sending TVbb to 22521.

Users can also receive the service through Vodafone Discover on the main screen of their smartphone where there will be a permanent link to television and key games each day, or through the portal My Web (http://miweb.vodafone.es).

Customers who don’t have a smartphone can access Vodafone TV via Vodafone live! Vodafone TV offers customers 13 channels including MTV, Telecinco, 40 TV, Fox, Cartoon Network and National Geographic.
