German technical services company Media Broadcast is to deliver live Euro 2012 matches from Poland and the Ukraine to German TV screens.

All matches will be transmitted from the International Broadcast Centre in Warsaw using a total bandwidth of up to 400 Mbps for SD/HD streams to public broadcasters ARD and ZDF, which show the games for football fans throughout Germany. Data services will also be transmitted.

The signals will initially be delivered to the central hubs of Media Broadcast's Next Generation Network in Berlin and Frankfurt from where they will be sent on to ARD's regional affiliate WDR in Cologne and ZDF in Mainz.
