NBCU picks thePlatform video publishing system for multiscreen programming

Leading US media firm NBCUniversal has signed a multi-year agreement with white-label video publishing company thePlatform to install back-end video management system for several of its most popular programming networks.
NBCU channels USA Network, Syfy, and Oxygen will now use the cloud-based mpx online video management system to reach viewers on PCs, tablets, and other IP-connected devices, joining fellow channels E!, NBC Local Media, NBC Sports Regional Networks, Sprout, Style, and the Golf Channel as users of thePlatform technology.
