In Brief: HBO, UPC, H&C, CAIWay

UPC Nederland will start to carry the three Dutch HBO channels from the third quarter of the year, according to unconfirmed local reports. The broadcaster started earlier this year with SD and HD versions, HBO Go and HBO On Demand on Ziggo.
The Dutch version of thematic channel Horse & Country will also be distributed on the cable networks of Kabel Noord, CAI Harderwijk and Kabeltex later this month, while Delta will start carriage in September.
Dutch cabler CAIWay has said it will start to offer triple play services over the FTTH networks from by KPN-owned Reggefiber. The announcement follows the unsuccessful take-over of CAIWay by KPN, which was stopped by the Dutch competition authority NMa.
