English Club TV channel has appointed an official distributor in Turkey, Ureteam Medya Hizmetleri from July 1, 2012.

All cable operators in Turkey that would like to distribute English Club TV channel will be able to contact Murat Saygi our official representative for operative consultation. The chnanel is already being broadcast by one of Turkey’s biggest cable operators Türksat.

The channel said it hopes to help Turkish business by offering English language educational programmes, “If a company has employees that speak English, it has better opportunities to attract American and British investors.”

Murat Saygi, board member of Ureteam Medya Hizmetleri, said in a statement: “I believe that English Club TV will go a long way in Turkey. The modern generation is more dynamic in Turkey today; they would like to study abroad, travel, grow up career and so on. Learning a foreign language through colleges or private lessons is extremely expensive and time consuming.

“They have no time to spend it for intensive learning, but they are ready to combine education and entertainment that provides English Club TV. ECTV will also overcome this fact and will be available anywhere anytime through VOD services pretty soon. That is why the Committee of Directors at – Ureteam Medya Hizmetleri decided to promote this channel into the Turkish market and we are convinced in its success.”
