French production house Novavision has inked a coproduction deal with Canada’s Tricord Media to bring comedy show Pop Corn TV to channel CTS.

170 episodes will be filmed in Canada and launch later on September on the channel. They will be anchored by TV animator Leland Klassen. Tricord Media will handle North American distribution of the new show while Novavision owns the rights for the rest of the world.

In a further development, Novavision has appointed Philippe Deleplace, formerly of Motors TV, as its new COO.
