TF1 upgrades LCI branding, partners with Paramount

French broadcaster TF1 has installed Chyron's Ticker Tool to provide channel branding for news channel LCI.
The newly developed Ticker Tool drives creation of all channel brand elements including clock, logos and tickers for weather, stocks, and news headlines.
"We needed a significant upgrade to our graphics presentations in order to stay competitive in our market," said Olivier Tremon, head of internal production at TF1.
Chyron dealer MagicHour provided support for the implementation of the Ticker Tool and Channel Box² solution installed in the main TF1 broadcasting facility in Paris.
Meanwhile, TF1 Vidéo has signed a commercial distribution agreement with Paramount Home Media Distribution France.
From 1 September, TF1 Vidéo’s physical products such as DVD and Blu-ray will be distributed by Paramount HMD France in retail shops as well as online.
During the second half of 2012, event titles will be released by TF1 Vidéo including movies Cloclo by Florent Emilio-Siri, Radiostars by Romain Lévy and To Rome With Love by Woody Allen. Paramount Home Media Distribution will line up Madagascar 3 by DreamWorks Animation, The Dictator and a collection of Indiana Jones available in Blu-ray.
