Sony debuts Cine Spanish-language network on Verizon FiOS TV

Sony Pictures Television will debut its first Spanish-language channel, Cine Sony Television, on Verizon FiOS in the United States.
Cine Sony TV will be part of Verizon's La Conexion and Spanish-language packages, available to all of Verizon's 4.5 million customers. La Conexion runs $89.99 for 185 channels, and offers 67 Spanish-language networks.
Verizon's Spanish-language package is an add-on to existing packages, offering those 67 channels for $12.99 per month.
The programming will draw from SPT's total catalogue, including 3,500 movies. Dubbed versions of favourites like The International, District 9, Snatch and Step Brothers along with in-language, SPT-produced series like Los Caballeros las prefieren brutas and Los Simuladores. SPT senior vice president Superna Kalle will oversee the new channel.
