The 2012 Democratic National Convention in the U.S. will be supported by TVEyes' Media Monitoring Suite, which will provide real-time television and radio monitoring and alerts as well as historical keyword search.

The implementation will enable the Democratic National Convention Committee (DNCC) communications team to follow and respond to news and events as they occur.
"We are excited to partner with TVEyes to ensure that the 2012 Democratic National Convention team has the most up-to-date and up-to-the-moment knowledge of all of our media coverage," said Kristie Greco, Chief Communications Officer for the DNCC. "With 15,000 members of the media expected to attend and cover our convention, TVEyes will be essential to helping us monitor the broadcast news."
TVEyes' real-time search and monitoring will apply to all national network, cable and affiliate broadcasts in all 210 U.S. designated market areas (DMAs) and major global markets.
"Today's rapid pace of domestic and global events combined with shorter reporting cycles means that political candidates and parties must be prepared to respond to news, political issues and competitors in real time, as coverage airs in the U.S. and worldwide," said David Ives, CEO of TVEyes Inc.
The TVEyes business model has grown to encompass a wide range of services and market segments involving automated speech-to-text and advanced audio/video search. TVEyes was the first media monitoring company to deploy a worldwide network of fully automated TV and radio monitoring servers and continues to add coverage aggressively to its network, it said.
The 2012 Democratic National Convention will take place in in Charlotte, N.C., the week of 3rd September.
