Direct Star, Sosh launch digital reality TV show The Social Rush

French DTT channel, Direct Star, which is set to be taken over by Canal+ in the coming weeks, and telco Orange, through its mobile Sosh brand dedicated to the ultra-connected 18-35 demo, is to launch a new digital reality TV show.

The Social Rush features a collective connected challenge in which five community-leading candidates are engaged into a race against time to win a week-end in Croatia. They fight with the help of two devices, their smartphones and their social networks to gather the biggest community of fans around them.

The game has already started on both Sosh’s Facebook page and Direct Star dedicated website, where internauts are invited to vote for their favourite player and follow their first adventures. The game process will be complemented with half-hour TV episodes, due to air as of 24 September on Direct Star.
