ESPN preps for Supercopa 2012

The flagship sports outfit in the United States is gearing up for Supercopa 2012, which will see historic Spanish football rivals Real Madrid and FC Barcelona facing off against each other in back-to-back matches. Spanish-language ESPN Deportes, ESPN3 and ESPN Deportes Radio will all present live coverage of the two Clasico matches.

The first match is scheduled for Thursday, 23 August at 4 p.m ET from Camp Nou in Barcelona, and the second will be Wednesday, 29 August at 4 p.m. ET from Santiago Bernabéu in Madrid.
Additional coverage includes ESPN Deportes' Los Capitanes commentary programme, which will feature special show for both Supercopa matches. And Fuera de Juego, the network's international soccer programme, will offer special live coverage by sport experts Fernando Palomo, Mario Kempes, Ricardo Ortiz and Andrés Agulla, including a special 90-minute live postgame show.
ESPN's TV Everywhere digital platform play, ESPN3, will cover the proceedings live and on a replay, in Spanish. ESPN3 is available in 73 million households nationwide at no additional cost to fans who authenticate in using credentials from a pay-TV service provider.
