Teleclub launches French package on Swisscom

Swiss pay-TV platform Teleclub is to launch a new suite of premium channels into French-speaking Switzerland.

Three pay-TV packages are being launch on the Swisscom IPTV service as of September 12; Teleclub Sports, Teleclub Premium and LES+. In all 50 channels will be available in standard definition and 25 in the high definition format.

Teleclub is also moving into new studios in Fribourg, used by its sports production company Westschweizer Sportredaktion.

This offer is exclusively available on Swisscom TV. Christian Petit, Head of Residential Customers at Swisscom, is delighted: “Our French-speaking customers make up a large portion of our customer base. Therefore, we are very pleased with them with the new Teleclub packages can offer a comprehensive program of entertainment for the whole family, including attractive movies channels and an extensive sports package.”

Teleclub Sports will include the 13 Teleclub Sport channels with their coverage of national and international soccer leagues. Other channels in the package include ESPN America, Extreme Sports, Motors TV and Golf Channel.

The entertainment package includes Universal’s 13ème Rue, Syfy, TCM, Disney Channel, Disney Cinemagic, Disney XD and Disney Junior.

The LES+ package brings in seven Cine+ movie channels and documentary channels Planète+, Planète+ Thalassa, Planète+ No Limit and Planète+ Justice.

Subscription prices run from CHF12.90 (€10.74) to CHF19.90 per month.
