Leading Spanish cable operator Ono has removed Eurosport and Eurosport 2 sports channels from its programming, replacing them with Trace Sports.

Trace Sports broadcasts on several satellites in Europe and is also distributed among several pay-TV operators. It features a programming dedicated to the stars of the sport in all its forms. It is aimed at viewers aged 15 to 49 years, with special reference to women of 25-39 years. The channel will be available for TiVo, Motorola and NDS digital subs and also for analogue customers.

The French group Trace currently produces several entertainment channels, which it distributes through pay-TV platforms worldwide.

In Spain Eurosport and Eurosport 2 will still be available from Canal +, Telefónica’s Movistar Imagenio, Telecable, R, Euskaltel and other licensed operators. Eurosport 2 is available on Movistar Imagenio, R, Euskaltel and other licensed operators.
