File-transfer specialist Unlimi-Tech Software is planning to show off 10Gbps file transfers, a centralised management console and new mobile file transfer apps for both iOS and Android ate th upcoming IBC 2012 conference.
The company plans to launch FileCatalyst Direct, FileCatalyst Workflow and FileCatalyst Central, all focused in the area of large data movement and accelerated file transfer.
The new FileCatalyst mobile apps for iOS and Android provide features like intelligent network switching (i.e. 4G to Wi-Fi), pause/resume and recovery from connection loss. Advances in mobile network speeds, as well as mobile camera and storage technology, have made capturing and transferring HD content from a mobile device a reality, but it requires a reliable mechanism to transmit massive files from a handheld device over the public Internet.
"We continue to lead innovation in the accelerated file transfer sphere," says Chris Bailey, CEO of Unlimi-Tech. "We've added several new European customers and partners in the past year, and we are looking to continue building on that success."
