    Name change by Skylink

    Name change by Skylink
    September 2, 2012 20.13 Europe/London By Chris Dziadul

The Czech and Slovak DTH platform Skylink has renamed its Gratis package Digital.

The move, which coincides with the introduction of a service charge by both Skylink and its sister service CS Link at the beginning of this month, was made “on the recommendation of professional and lay people who perceived the (current) name Gratis as misleading.”

The controversial new service charge will require customers in the Czech Republic and Slovakia to pay CZK29 (€1.17) and €1.20 a month respectively.

New customers will be required to do so right away and existing ones from the beginning of next month.
