TF1 Publicité will sell Shazam ad services in France

TF1 Publicité will sell ads for Shazam for TV and Shazam for Radio services after striking a commercial deal with MBrand3, an affiliate of Mobile Network group.

Thanks to Shazam’s music recognition technology applied to commercials, TV spots are becoming interactive so that consumers can gain access to enriched content through smartphones and tablets. This technology will be available for TV, radio and IPTV services.

Shazam for TV service has been trialled successfully in the US, with a highlight on NBC during The Super Bowl.
