    Oscam (newcamd) /w local cards<-> Oscam (newcamd) <-> CCcam clients

    I am trying to run Oscam locally with local cards and then have thsi so called OSCAM 1 connect to OSCAM 2 without local cards. Finally I want my clients to connect to Oscam 2 through CCCAM in their boxes and servers.

    So I have 4 local cards in my OSCAM 1. They are all in Omnicard USB 3121 readers and they work fine.I have set up a USER for OSCAM 2 to login.
    In OSCAM 2 I have setup a READER with the NEWCAMD protocol. This suppose to come to live when a client asks for ECM's by switching from one channel to another.

    The client is actually a dreambox in my house but could be anyone. The only thing I require is that my clients all use CCCAM. So they connect to OSCAM 2 using a C line (c: x x x x . d y n d n s . c o m 12000 user pass)

    When this clients zaps it connects to OSCAM 2 and because OSCAM 2 does not have any shares OSCAM 2 will connect to OSCAM 1 to find my local card.

    Problem :

    When zapping to a channel on the client/box no connection is established between OSCAM 1 and OSCAM 2 so no card can be found. In OSCAM 2 I can actually see the client be logged in and switching channels.

    I have aso tried connecting the OSCAM 1 and 2 using cccam. Same problem.

    Its pivotal that the setup remains the same in other words :

    oscam 1 (with local cards) based in country one - oscam 2 no local cards based in coutry two - cccam clients (everywhere :))

    For your info :

    in OSCAM 1 :

    [account]
    user = xxxxx
    wd = xxxxx
    group = 1 (same group as the reader for my local card)
    cccmaxhops = 4
    cccreshare = 5
    cccstealth = 1
    keepalive = 1

    in OSCAM 2 :

    [reader]
    label =
    protocol = newcamd
    device = xxxxxx.xxx.nl,10000
    key = 0102030405060708091011121314
    user = xxxxxx
    password = xxxxxxxx
    group = 1
    blockemm-unknown = 1
    blockemm-u = 1
    blockemm-s = 1
    blockemm-g = 1
    audisabled = 1

    ook in OSCAM 2 :

    [account]
    user = bedroombox
    pwd = xxxxx
    group = 1
    cccmaxhops = 4
    cccstealth = 1
    keepalive = 1

    Any ideas ??

    Regards
    Rackz

    Re: Oscam (newcamd) /w local cards<-> Oscam (newcamd) <-> CCcam clients

    Better use the camd35 protocol when having 4 different CAID's in Oscam1's readers.
    If they are all from one provider, newcamd will do the job.

    about your config:

    - ccc* options are not relevant in newcamd / camd35
    - if Oscam1 contains one CAID, you should specify this CAID and IDENT in the reader on Oscam2

    how did you define the newcamd port in Oscam1 ? (post oscam.conf)
