IBC 2012: Arqiva, YahLive build European HD TV uplink hub

Arqiva has teamed up with YahLive to establish a European Hub from which the communications infrastructure and media services company will uplink HD TV services to the UAE satellite operator.
YahLive is a partnership company with Yahsat, the United Arab Emirates-based satellite communications company, a wholly owned subsidiary of Mubadala Development Company, and satellite operator SES. In the deal with Arqiva, its viewers, across the MENA region, with access at 52.5 East, will now be able to enjoy European TV programming in HD.
