Children in Europe remained glued to their TV sets over the first half of 2012, with daily viewing time stable since the same period last year, and significantly above levels of four years ago.
This find was revealed in the 7th issue of the Eurodata TVís Kids TV Report, which provides analyses on kids TV consuming habits and broadcastersí youth programming strategies in France, UK, Spain, Italy and Germany
With 2 hours 50 minutes this last semester, Italian children aged 4 to 14 years old remain the biggest TV consumers in Europe.
Both France and Italy introduced the time-shifted viewing measurement in 2011 which contributed to the rise in daily viewing time in these countries.
