Teleport and HD Playout centre SatLink Communications and Amos satellite fleet operator Spacecom have reached an agreement with French international news channel France 24 to distribute the network’s French and English feeds to Sub-Saharan Africa via the Amos-5 satellite.

France 24 will use the Amos-5 Ku-band TV distribution platforms from SatLink at 17 degrees East to deliver its French channel to French-speaking Africa and its English channel to East and Central Africa.

The network also will be using SatLink’s content distribution capabilities to Amos-5 MCPC Ku-band platforms to allow them to distribute their content easily to DTH viewers at the French speaking and central Africa regions.
