Xavier Rius takes helm as Southern Europe sales supremo for Videoplaza

Global sell side video ad management platform Videoplaza has appointed Xavier Rius as its new Sales Business Director for Southern Europe.

With a 10 year proven track record in the online advertising sector, Rius is being tasked with bringing his knowledge of the online media industry and content monetisation to Videoplaza.

In addition to managing the development of the company’s business in the region, Rius will embark upon a programme to help operators deliver more revenue from their content properties, save costs and increase efficiencies in the management of video advertising. Over the past year, Videoplaza claims a 400% growth in video monetisation, demonstrating, it said, the increasing emphasis that broadcasters, publishers and brands are now placing on IP-delivered video as a key medium to reach the connected audience.
