C More renews exclusive Paramount first pay multiple-year agreement

Only days after securing second pay window rights for Time Warner content, Scandinavia service provider C More has renewed its first window agreement with Paramount Pictures.
The multiple-year first pay agreement includes the studio’s new releases as well as a number of films from the renowned library of Paramount Home Media Distribution (PHMD) on an exclusive basis and will be shown on the C More’s linear television pay-TV channel and the C More Play on demand service. All films will premiere in the Nordic region on C More and subscribers can also access the content via the Internet or their on demand box.
The PHMD division oversees Paramount’s home entertainment, digital and television distribution activities worldwide acting on behalf of Paramount Pictures, Paramount Animation, Paramount Vantage, Paramount Classics, Insurge Pictures, MTV, Nickelodeon, Comedy Central, CBS . It also provides home entertainment fulfilment services for DreamWorks Animation Home Entertainment.
Among the titles included in the agreement are "Puss in Boots" and "Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted" from DreamWorks Animation SKG, Inc., "Hugo", "Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol" and "Footloose".
Commenting on the deal, Johan Kleberg, CEO C More said: “Paramount offers a wide variety of films, including many that are appropriate for the entire family, which is important to our subscribers.”
