Media Networks adds new operators in Brazil

Telefónica Digital LATAM’s broadcasting services subsidiary Media Networks has added six new players to its customer base in Brazil, as a result of a strategic alliance with DTHi.
The latter markets its exclusive pay-TV services on a wholesale basis targeting small satellite operators wishing to enter the paid for TV market. Media Networks currently provides the wholesale pay-TV service in Brazil with Vivo, Oi, CTBC (Grupo Algar), Sercomtel, Telecom and DTHi Super i, which are added by integrators Zatech and Product Viasat Go Digital. From its regional teleport, it manages what it claims as the largest the satellite pay-TV and internet hub in Latin America.
