MIPCOM 2012: Scripps Networks International accelerates global reach

Leading lifestyle content provider Scripps Networks International has unveiled a range of new carriage agreements for its global lifestyle brands Food Network, Fine Living Network, Food Network Asia and Travel Channel International.

The new launches cover seven countries and expansion in seven other countries and are said to reinforce the company's commitment to international growth and include channel launches with leading distributors in seven new countries and expansions through new
cable and broadband system partnerships in seven countries.
Food Network has now debuted in Latvia, Georgia, Romania and Serbia; The lifestyle channel can now be found on Latvian cable provider, IZZI; in Georgia on leading cable
provider Super TV; in Romania on Intersat, and in Serbia on Targo Telekom.
In Cyprus, Food Network has bolstered its presence through an expansion agreement with managed IPTV services provider PrimeTel who launched Food Network in high definition in June 2011 and has now added a standard definition version of the lifestyle
channel to its basic tier offering.
Fine Living Network, the premier destination for the best in-home design, travel, cuisine and personal style programming, has launched for the first time in the Russian Federation through Arkhangelsk Television Company (ATK).
