BeIN SPORT gears up for World Cup qualifiers, signs Liberty Cablevision

beIN SPORT is planning a full slate of live, exclusive coverage of World Cup qualifying football in the Americas on 12 October, including the U.S. Men's National Soccer Team vs. Antigua & Barbuda from Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in North Sound, Antigua, as part of the CONCACAF tournament.

Separately, the network announced a carriage agreement with Liberty Cablevision in Puerto Rico.

beIN SPORT also will air the entire CONMEBOL South American World Cup qualifying tournament, highlighted by sfootball superstar Lionel Messi leading Argentina against Uruguay.

Games will be televised on both beIN SPORT and beIN SPORT en Español.

BeIN, a new independent 24-hour global network dedicated to live and exclusive coverage of the world's best international sports, has steadily been adding pay-TV distributors to its stable. BeIN can be found on DirecTV, DISH Network and Comcast Xfinity in both English and Spanish, and has also signed Liberty Cablevision of Puerto Rico.

beIN SPORT's English and Spanish networks will be available as part of Liberty's basic service package on standard definition channels 94 and 95, respectively. The networks will also be part of the cable provider's premium HD package on channels 224 and 225. In addition to its linear TV networks, select beIN SPORT content will be available on demand via Liberty Cablevision's website.

beIN SPORT's exclusive coverage includes top football leagues and tournaments from Europe and South America, including games from Spain's La Liga, Italy's Serie A, France's Ligue 1, South American World Cup Qualifiers and Copa America 2015. The network will also carry the away games for the U.S. Men's National Soccer Team in the qualifying rounds of the 2014 World Cup.
