MIPCOM sees content come into Prime for Eastern Europe and Africa

Prime Entertainment Group is claiming that this year’s MIPCOM has seen the content provider reinforce its strong position on the entertainment market especially in Eastern Europe and Africa.
At the show, Prime announced collaborations with international channels in a number of deals for its HD series. More than 300 hours of programming have been sold for the event.
Specifically, Turkish channel Digiturk acquired a 270 episodes package from “Hollywood On Set”, “Stars” and “Zoom In”; Nigerian Silverbird Communication Group signed up for 156 episodes from Prime high profile series “Hollywood’s Best Film Directors” , “Close Up” and “Hollywood On Set”; the Ukrainian TV 24 news channel has acquired 65 episodes from “Stars!”show; Kazakhstan’s Prime Media has licensed a package of 130 episodes from “Hollywood’s Best Film Directors” And “Close Up”. In addition, Sony Asia bought into entertainment show “Hollywood News Feed” 52x15'. Negotiations have begun with Sony AXN Germany and Latin America, HolaTV.
