ESPN Deportes gears up for Dominican baseball coverage

ESPN Deportes+ por ESPN3 will offer exclusive coverage of Dominican Baseball this season. And, ESPN Deportes Radio Nueva York 1050 AM will follow the coverage, starting with the game between Aguilas Cibaeñas and Tigres Del Licey on 23 October.

The league consists of six teams, each playing a 50-game round-robin schedule with the top four teams advancing to the playoffs. The league's champion advances to the Caribbean Series to play against the representatives from Mexico, Venezuela and Puerto Rico.

Although not confirmed, as the Major League Baseball season comes to a close, some of the Dominican MLB players have expressed interest in participating in this season.

ESPN Deportes+, the new programming extension of ESPN Deportes and ESPN3, and ESPN Deportes Radio Nueva York 1050 AM are specifically dedicated to serve the Hispanic sports fan in New York.
