German pay-TV operator Sky Deutschland will expand its over-the-top-TV (OTT) service Sky Go: From 28 November 2012, subscribers will be able to watch children's programmes in addition to the current line-up of movies, series and live sports.

The offering which will be bundled in a protected, separate children's corner will be operated in conjunction with children's channels Boomerang, Cartoon Network, Junior and Nicktoons and contain more than 100 programmes including classics such as "Tom & Jerry", "The Flintstones" and "Bugy Bunny" as well as current series like "Ben 10" or "Monsuno".
Subscribers of the movie package will also be able to access blockbuster films such as "The Muppets", "Rio" or "Happy Feet 2".

Sky Go offers selected Sky content on the iPad, iPhone, iPod touch, on the Xbox 360 and on the open internet. A cable subscription, satellite dish, set-top-box or smartcard is not required. Currently, Sky Go is tied to a regular Sky subscription, but it will be offered as a stand-alone product in future.
