The six new HD DTT channels, which are set to launch on 12 December 2012 will be delivered to the whole population by June 2015, the country’s TV regulatory body has CSA announced.

At launch, these new FTA nets will be carried on cable, satellite and IPTV platforms and cover a quarter of the French population.

The six new channels will add to the 19 FTA channels already available on DTT. Terrestrial viewers will have to get a DTT HD receiver to get these channels.
