Publiespaña takes lead in Spanish ad market

Despite operating in an advertising market which has contracted by an alarming 18.3% year on year over the first 9 months of 2012, Publiespaña, Mediaset España’s advertising company has racked up an operating profit of around €40 million.
The Spanish adverting leader reported total gross receipts of €632.25 million from media lines such as Canal +, Internet, Teletext and thematic channels which alone were worth €26.85 M.
Mediaset Spain says that key to its success, whereby it improved its net financial position by €39.49 million, was trimming its operating costs to the difficult macroeconomic situation.
